Dietetics

You may have noticed unplanned weight loss, weight gain, or find it hard to maintain a healthy weight despite efforts. You feel tired, sluggish, or low in energy more often than not. Some struggle with digestive issues like constipation, bloating, gut discomfort, or irregular bowel movements. Maybe your blood tests show falling nutrient levels, or you’ve been told you could be malnourished.

Maybe you live with a chronic medical condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, Parkinson’s, MS, dementias or other neurological disorder and you need some guidance as to what is best for you.
You may be preparing for life stages or major changes, such as pregnancy, menopause, or starting weight loss medications and need guidance to adapt your eating patterns.

Or you may have none of the above, however you are training for an important event in sport or physical performance and want your nutrition to support your goals best.

Maybe you have been to a dietician before, but it was all too theoretical and just not practical enough for you to be able to actually integrate these changes into your life and you are about to give up on it all.

If any of these matches what you’re feeling, our dietitian’s individualised, evidence-based approach can make a major difference.

At Stratford Health Hub, our very own dietician Jen is just the person to see. Jen will:

  • Perform a thorough assessment on your current and past nutrition and eating habits, diets, and reviews any blood test results, supplements and other relevant test outcomes and body composition.
  • Provide you with a clear overview of your current nutrition status, will give you a diagnosis and will summarise for you the different points to address based on this assessment.
  • Develop a plan, just for you and will offer evidence based, yet very practical diet strategies, to make it easy for you to integrate these dietary changes into your life for you to achieve your goals.
